Roof Repair Smedway built its Hail Damage Roof Repair division around one idea: homeowners in Fredonia deserve a straight answer, a fair price, and a truck in the driveway fast.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Fredonia, NY before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Licensing and insurance aren't a line item we mention once and forget — we keep documentation current and available on request, because a homeowner signing off on a Hail Damage Roof Repair project deserves proof, not a promise.
A patched flashing that leaks again in eighteen months costs a homeowner more than the first repair ever saved. That's why our Hail Damage Roof Repair crews follow manufacturer specs on every nail pattern and every underlayment overlap, not just the visible parts.
Bonded, insured, and ready to show proof on the spot.
A tarp-down call at 2 a.m. gets the same urgency as one at 2 p.m.
You'll see the number before any work starts, not buried in a final invoice.
Technicians dispatched from within Fredonia, NY, not flown in from another region.
By the time water is visibly dripping into a room, the damage underneath the surface has usually been developing for a while.
Asphalt shingles shed protective granules as they age, and a gutter full of grit usually means the surface layer is wearing thin.
Shingle edges that curl upward have usually lost flexibility, which makes them far more likely to crack or blow off in the next storm.
Climb into the attic on a sunny day — if you see pinpricks of daylight, water can get through the same gaps.
Sagging drywall or a soft spot underfoot in the attic usually points to sustained moisture damage, not a one-time drip.
If upstairs rooms feel noticeably warmer than the rest of the house, a failing roof system is a common hidden cause.
Even one missing shingle can let enough water through to rot the decking underneath within a single storm season.
We break our work into distinct service lanes because a wind-lifted ridge cap and a full tear-off need completely different crews, materials, and timelines.
Emergency dispatch covers downed limbs through the roof deck, storm-torn flashing, and wind-lifted shingle sections that need immediate coverage.
Residential work covers shingle repair, full re-roofs, ridge and soffit ventilation upgrades, and skylight flashing — whatever the house actually needs.
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water issues before they become structural.
A full tear-off strips the roof down to the decking, replaces damaged boards, and installs a new underlayment and shingle system built to current code.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
Specialized repairs cover ice-dam prevention, dormer flashing, and low-slope transitions that standard shingle crews sometimes overlook.
Calls placed after hours still reach an on-call line for anything urgent.
You get a plain-language explanation of what's actually happening, not just a repair quote.
Financing and insurance-claim assistance are discussed at this stage if applicable.
A final walkthrough confirms the repair or install meets the agreed scope before the invoice is closed out.
Response windows are communicated upfront, not left as a vague "sometime this week."
We'd rather lose a job over an honest price than win one with a lowball number that grows later.
Our installers train on manufacturer specifications for shingles, underlayment, and flashing systems, not just general carpentry.
Every repair and install comes with a workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
We've worked with enough adjusters across Fredonia, NY to know what documentation actually gets a claim approved faster.
Our technicians explain the reasoning behind every recommendation so you're deciding with full information, not a sales script.
Every Hail Damage Roof Repair project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
Material substitutions or unexpected decking damage found mid-job are always discussed with you first — we don't add line items after the fact and hope you don't notice.
Our Fredonia coverage area extends across Fredonia, NY, and if your address falls just outside the standard zone, dispatch can usually still arrange a visit.
Dispatch routes are planned around Fredonia's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
